I'm Sarah. This is my thing.

I grew up in Shropshire with three spaniels who ran the household. By ten I was convinced I'd be a vet. Turns out I'm squeamish, so I went a different route.

I spent my twenties volunteering at rescue centres, fostering dogs who needed somewhere calm, and being the person everyone asked to dog-sit whenever they went away.

In 2019 I stopped pretending this wasn't my actual job. Paws & Play is just me. No staff, no facility. Your dog stays in my house in Shrewsbury, with my own dog Mabel. She's a very calm eight-year-old Lab who's excellent at showing newcomers around.

I take three dogs at most. If your dog needs medication, has anxiety, or is just a bit odd, that's fine. Most of the best dogs are a bit odd.
