Hi, I'm Lucy! I have been grooming dogs for over ten years and I still get excited every morning when I open up the salon. There is nothing better than seeing a scruffy pup transformed into a clean, confident dog.
I trained at the Cambridge Academy of Dog Grooming and have worked with every breed you can think of, from tiny Chihuahuas to giant Great Danes. I hold City and Guilds qualifications in dog grooming and regularly attend workshops to stay up to date with the latest techniques.
My approach is always patience first. Nervous dogs, reactive dogs, puppies having their first ever groom - they all get the time and space they need to feel comfortable.
The Salon
Scruffs is located on Mill Road in Cambridge, one of the city's most vibrant streets. The salon is purpose-built with dogs in mind: non-slip flooring, a hydraulic grooming table, professional drying equipment, and a calm, quiet atmosphere.
I only take one dog at a time, so your pet gets my complete, undivided attention. No cages, no rushing, and no stacking appointments back to back. Each dog gets the time they need.
We use premium, cruelty-free grooming products that are gentle on sensitive skin. If your dog has allergies or skin conditions, just let me know and I can adapt.
